Exams are over and apping is in offing

Finally on May 7 , 2004 i "typed" the exam that i have been thinking of writing since 1998. Back then i would have decided on GRE + TOEFL combination but now it is GMAT+TOEFL. During the TOEFL exam i realized two things. first, there is actually no need to prepare for it. two people are talking and you have to say what they are talking about. So either you know it or you dont [ in case the talk happens in an alien language] Second point is, listen to what all people around you say but do what you are most comfortable doing.

People say lot of thigs and some may even work for you, but there is no need to change your habits just because it does not fall in line with "The correct thing to do". Like when i am doing reading comprehension [RC] i actually go very fast when answering the questions. That is what i normally do and unnecessary slowing my speed would not help me at all. belive me, has never helped. I think exams were the easy part, the difficult part is making a good application story board.

I think a good story board should be able to link all past , present and future activities. Basically it should show that you are indeed striving for a goal. Hmmm , i am sounding like a Pro without writing a single line ..:o) Enough, i think i will keep collecting my thoughts here as i go along with the app process.
